Hood Marine Canvas specializes in high quality Dodgers, Biminis, Enclosures and Interiors in the Boston area. We've been the leader in marine canvas fabrication for over 30 years. All our canvas fabrications are built to last with quality materials and a perfect tight wrinkle free fit. This year we have introduced Solarfix® PTFE thread as our standard thread. You will never need to restitch or worry about seams coming apart for the life of your new canvas. Super clear and scratch resistant Strataglass™ is our standard clear window material for all our fabrications. Mark Hood is a Certified Master Fabric Craftsman (MFC) certified by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI). Mark is a member of the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA)
Hood Marine Canvas Training Workshops
In addition to our marine canvas fabrications, we offer marine canvas training workshops at our shop in Merrimac, MA. Our unique fabrication techniques have been featured in numerous how to articles for Marine Fabricator Magazine. We have trained or upgraded the skills of marine canvas fabricators across the country in our unique fabrication techniques. These techniques cannot be learned at any of the other canvas schools.
